ACHITECTURAL SALES EXECUTIVE


AVENUE ROAD is currently seeking Architectural Sales Executive to join their team in Vancouver. The Architectural Sales Executive focuses on outside sales for architectural brands (kitchens, doors, tiles and bathroom and kitchen fixtures) and reports to the Director of Sales and Business Development, Vancouver.

Duties will include, but not limited to:
-    Handle all specific brand sales including sales quotations, budget planning, client negotiations, order management, installation, and on-going relationship management
-    On-going sales monitoring and analysis of all contract sales activities across Canada
-    Contribute to the overall conquest and retention strategies
-    Sales monitoring, sales analysis, pricing strategy
-    Competitive analysis and bench-marking
-    Manage and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
-    Negotiate with Trades for installations and overall projects
-    Negotiate with vendors, trouble shooting, pricing
-    Project management: monitoring timelines ensuring deadlines are met
-    Business development and client retention across Canada
-    Additional responsibilities as requested or required


Skills / Attributes
-    Architectural Sales experience (3-5 years) -    Interior Design or Architectural qualifications -    Strong relationships in Architectural, Design and Development communities -    Strong understanding of architectural plans -    Conflict resolution skills -    Ability to work Saturdays (potentially 1 per month) -    Ability to multitask in a dynamic team environment -    Driver's license/car nice to have -    Strong organizational skills -    Excellent computer skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word -    Experience with AutoDesk CAD software an asset -    Experience with inventory/database, preferably SAP -    French or second language an asset -    Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to speak articulately & concisely in group settings
